One day during the earlier part of the lockdown, my wife asked me, "Who is David Lynch?" over lunch. That got my creative engine working right away. I played with all kinds of household objects, which were especially easy to get my hands on because we were battling cockroaches and moved everything out of the kitchen. Two months later, I decided to edit those sounds and add on solo violin until I realised that it was still too empty. I looked around the room and saw our Yamaha electric piano (our door is too small to bring in a real upright piano) and I had an evil grin on my face.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is my debut as a non-pianist, probably also the last time I would record myself on said instrument. This is also the first time I dedicate a piece of music to Ze Wife. Mixing by Mr Wong Foo Jeng, thanks for everything!
